Banyan Tree grew out of Nanci's vision of a place where all children could learn and experience success despite their learning differences. Her expertise and commitment continue to nurture Banyan Tree, which has grown from one small learning center begun in 1996 to three schools and two learning centers throughout San Diego County.

Joining Banyan Tree in the summer of 2021, Julie serves as our Director of Academics. She brings a wealth of educational leadership experience to our team, supporting our amazing site leaders with everything from WASC accreditation, educational technology and leadership coaching. She also serves as principal to our two Compass Academy locations in Point Loma and Oceanside.
